Originally constructed in the 1970s, the indoor pool in Bad Oldesloe opened in 2014 under the new name "Travebad" following a gut renovation and extension work that took a good two-and-a-half years. The project included replacing the entire water circulation system, creating a new baby area and the bathing complex with four pools.
