Over a period of four months, prospective fitters learn the most important aspects of the materials to be used and how to handle them correctly in a company-owned training center. They also learn everything about construction site conditions and occupational safety regulations and receive information about hazardous substances. They learn how to pre-treat and inspect substrates as well as how to apply trowel coatings, self-leveling coatings, laminates, and tile linings. In addition to many practical tasks, mathematical skills are also refreshed so that new colleagues can calculate material consumption, measurements, and other values required on the construction site. The thorough basic training makes it easier for new team members to get started on construction sites and strengthens their knowledge and skills.
